  Q: Do you require shots for my pets?
    A: YES! We require that your pets be currently vaccinated for Rabies, DHLPP and Bordetella before starting ANY service. We will need to see shot reports or talk with your veterinarian to verify the expiration dates on all vaccinations.

  Q: Who do I call if I need to schedule, cancel or modify my service?
    A: You MUST call the main office number at 314-805-7387 and ask for Gina. YOUR SITTERS ARE NOT ABLE TO DO THIS AT ANY TIME.

  Q: How far in advance do I need to book your service?
    A: Please book your service as early as possible. Overnights are in high demand and book up very quickly. Spring Break, Thanksgiving and Christmas overnights are generally booked to capacity 6 months to 1 year in advance. Summer overnights are generally booked to capacity 3 - 6 weeks in advance. Vacation Visits, Daily Walks and Horse Sitting services are available with much shorter notice.

  Q: Can I simply call and have you care for my pets if I have not used you before?
    A: No. We must do a service contract with you prior to your first service. This gives us authorization, as well as all of the instructions needed, to care for your pets. It also gives you the opportunity to meet your sitter. Once you have the service contract done, you can call in your requests from then on. There is no charge for the service contract.

  Q: What ways am I able to book your service?
    A: You can call or text Gina at 314-805-7387 or email Gina at hamsterstohounds@yahoo.com to set up any service once your service contract has been done. *NOTE: You will get a response once your request has been received. If you do not get a response we did not get your request and you will not be scheduled for service!

  Q: Will I have the same sitter each time I use your service?
    A: We try very hard to make sure that you have the same sitter each time. There are times when you may have to use another sitter, but you will be notified at the time you call in and you will be able to meet with the sitter prior to the first day of service.

  Q: What hours do you work?
    A: Our day starts at 7am and our last stop time is 9pm. (See Rates for more information).

  Q: What if I need to cancel my service?
    A: Cancelations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a partial fee depending on the type of service scheduled. (See Rates for more information).

  Q: How do you get in to my home to care for my pets?
    A: You supply us with a key to your home. Many people use a garage door opener or code to enter their homes. We do still request a key, as we will not be able to enter the property if the electric is out and we only have the opener or code to enter. We are insured to keep keys vaulted for future use or we can return it to you when you have arrived home. Keys are coded in a way that they cannot be linked back to your home

  Q: Is there an extra charge for holidays or weekends?
    A: No

  Q: Do you charge to administer medications to my pets?
    A: No. This is included in our base fee for each service.

  Q: Will you travel anywhere to sit for my pets?
    A: No. See our Service Area map for information on where we travel at this time.

  Q: How and when do I pay for service?
    A: We will invoice you 2-3 days prior to your first day of service and you can leave the check, made payable to the company, on the counter for your sitter to pick up on the first day. Daily walks are billed at the end of each week and you can leave payment on the next service day.

  Q: What forms of payment can I use?
    A: We accept cash, checks, Pay Pal and credit cards, which include:
      MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express.

  Q: Am I able to leave my credit card information on file for you to bill directly each time I use your service?
    A: Yes.  We maintain your information on our secure network and will only bill your card credit, at your request, on the first day of service.

  Q: Do you have references I can talk with about your service?
    A: Yes. References are available upon request.
